|Recommended: YesNew, Modern and Relaxing Apartments for Young Professionals — The Zag is a great location for a new grad or young professionals as it is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with many other residents the same age. Rooms are spacious and modernized. The amenities are well kept and cleanly. From the pool to the gym to the FREE coffee bar and quiet study spaces with wifi this place has everything you need. There is a free lot for parking that is well lit at night as well as numerous security measures to keep residents safe. The management is also very friendly, responsive, and cares a lot about the health and safety of residents.

|Recommended: YesGood Property, Decent Management, but still has opportunities for improvement — Overall, the apartment was good If asked if I would recommend ZAG, I would say yes, but it wouldn't be my first recommendation.
The Good
The amenities are nice. The pool is always clean and well kept. The grills always have propane in them as well Every apartment seems to have a huge water heater. So plenty of hot water for showers. The management and residents are always friendly Beautiful views on the west viewing apartments. Both in the summer and winter months there are great views of beautiful trees. Packing always seems to be available even for guests The garages are nice, but they can be tight at times. Try to get the compact spots in front of the garage door. They have fiber ran throughout the building. Depending on your unit you may or may not have it already set up. It costs 80 dollars to have it set up by Cox. If you do get it setup you have 1GB internet. West facing units have nothing to fear when it comes to the sun heating up your apartment. The blinds are amazing at blocking light Plenty of lighting throughout the apartment. Landscaping, cleaning of public areas, and coffee bar maintenance is always on point
The Meh
The building foundation seems to be settling and so cracks in the corners of the units will occur. If you are looking at a unit on the south-west side of the building, make sure you have them spray for bugs before moving in. Ladybugs are a major problem due to the trees nearby. Sound doesn't seem to come from neighbors on your floor but from people above you. No outlets that are for mounting tvs. All the outlets are close to the floor. Airflow in the units is a bit odd. It seems like air doesn't flow properly out of the unit thus causing a lack of fresh air. You have to choose whether to be hot or cold depending on what season you are in. Bathroom floors are tough to keep clean, but if you get the Swiffer Jet, it makes it easier to clean. The dishwasher is on the weaker side so be sure to not stack too much into it. There isn't really a good way to get rid of large trash items. The garbage shoots can only really fit trash bags down them. The trash shoots can get clogged up at times too.
The Bad
There is one major improvement that is needed for zag apartments though. I may be bias due to my previous living arrangements, but the delivery package management is a bit lacking. It is a bit of a free for all as to WHERE your package may be. At my last living arrangement the front office had an amazing system for receiving packages. It was well organized and well kept. Made it extremely easy to get your package and you always knew WHERE your package was going to be. You never had to question whether the package was going to be outside in the rain or sitting out in the open. The office staff also seems to have very strange hours. They never actually stay true to the times they have listed. Also, no weekend hours. Also they use a mobile application for notifications and paying rent, but it sucks. At my last living arrangement there always seemed to be someone in the office if you had any questions. If the staff was on a tour there was some indication as when they would be back. ZAG does appear to turnover office staff quite frequently. So expect to see a new face every couple months. Lease renewal is interesting to say the lease. If you are looking to move from a 2 bedroom to a one bedroom it is better to go through the process as if you are a new resident. As an existing resident you don't get any of the lease deals if you are finishing one lease and moving into the next. This doesn't seem all the big of deal until the move-in deal is getting 1000 dollars or 1 month free rent or something. There is a lack of call-boxes. Every door should have a call-box. THERE ARE NO ICE MAKERS IN THE FRIDGE. They aren't allowed because they will short-out the fridge and you have to pay for a new one . The rent in these apartments is not cheap and the freezers on the fridge don't have ice makers

I agree- the package retrieval system at ZAG leaves plenty of room for improvement. It is something that I have been working on and hope to see a solution come to fruition in the near future!

|Recommended: YesHave really enjoyed this property — There are a lot of thoughtful and great amenities including the pool, workout facility, shuffle board, coffee bar and guest suite for guests. The experience I have had with the property manager and maintenance has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend living here to any of my friends

|Recommended: YesA modern and clean evironment built on respect and ethics. — If someone asked me what it was like to live here, I would say that I lived in the future. Honestly, this place is really special. The designs are all modern. I love the awareness that ZAG provides. ZAG has a mindset of the future and what this is what it looks like. The gardens, the recycling shoots, and the design really build off each other. It is very clean and I can tell there is a higher standard here. The staff always greets with a smile and that makes a huge difference. The staff also is very genuine, asking about the move in and all.
The best part without a doubt is the user-friendliness of the website. I cannot stress this enough, the website makes everything come together. I would not have found this awesome place without the website. Then after I did find it, the website was super intuitive to use. A one-stop-shop for everything and that made the biggest impact.
The amenities are also spot on The Starbucks kiosk, workout area, pool, fireplace, and all really make for a great experience. Top-notch quality with top-notch service

|Recommended: YesVery good quality for the price. — Was here for a year. It's very luxurious for what you're paying. You get access to a gym, an elevator, a garage, a lounge, and a swimming pool.
Only downsides were the bugs that came in during the winter. Ladybird beetles and shield bugs visit through the vents and open windows looking for warmth and can be very meddlesome. Lady bugs in particular like to bash into any lights you have on.
The maintenance and office staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, having answers for all of my questions and making an effort to greet residents when they walk by. The groundskeepers were very prompt with salting the driveway during the winter. The office staff were also widely available each day of the week except weekends. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Your feedback regarding common pests is super helpful. We do have complimentary monthly pest control that is available to our residents! This allows us to treat throughout the year and individualize to the issue the resident is experiencing.

|Recommended: YesI love ZAG — I love living at the ZAG Apartments The staff is so friendly and helpful and the apartments are great. I love using the conference room and grabbing Starbucks coffee every morning. The gym is great too - could use a bit more equipment but overall really nice
